iPhone Cases Now Available!

I recently starting listing iPhone cases featuring my photography in my Etsy shop.  So far they have been a success!  Cases include images from LKB Photography and are available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4.  Cases for the iPhone 5 are a rigid plastic and are available in black or white.  iPhone 4 cases are available in rigid plastic or rigid plastic and are available in black or white.  Check out my available cases here.

Soon I will have iPhone Tough cases which offer more protection for your phone.  Samsung Galaxy III cases (and cases for other models) will also be available soon, so check back after the first of the year!

Photo Exhibit at Cafe Blackadder

I currently have a photo exhibit at Cafe Blackadder in Warrensburg, MO. I am thrilled to hang my work here because I spent a lot of time there when it was called the Tee Hause (back when I was in school). Since then, the owners have passed, and the new owner has made some wonderful changes. She often buys high-quality, local produce or grows it in her own garden. I even noticed her papertowels come from a company that promotes sustainability. The food is WONDERFUL. Julie has done an awesome job remembering the past owners by using their name in the Cafe’s name and buy often an array of wonderful teas. She has added some excellent food, and updated look, and supports quality and sustainability.

Photographs for sale at the Warrensburg Summer Craft Fair

Featured in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park iPhone Application

Several of my photos are being featured on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park iPhone Application (powered by Nomad).  This is the first application made in coordination with a National Park Associations and applications for other national parks are expected in the future.  This application is a great way to find hikes, alerts, campgrounds, and well just about anything!  Stay tuned for future park applications at http://nomadmobileguides.com/

Photo wins 2nd place in the Wild Plants Category

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out my Droplets photo was a finalist in the 2009 Wildlife in NC Photo Competition.  I was even more excited when I found out I won second place!  For me, this has been a great achievement.  My photo was chosen from 1,172 photos in the Wild Plants category. A total of 8,802 photos were entered into the competition from 1,889 photographers. The photo was published in the January 2010 issue of Wildlife in North Carolina magazine. I was also recognized in the Sylva Herald (local newspaper). The winning entries will be on display at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC.
